Job Description

General Electric is seeking an experienced and innovative Research Scientist – Elemental Analysis to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new methods for the analysis of elemental concentrations in a variety of materials. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field, extensive experience in elemental analysis, and a passion for research and development. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team, and who is driven to push the boundaries of scientific knowledge. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement new methods for the analysis of elemental concentrations in a variety of materials.
  2. Conduct research and development activities to push the boundaries of scientific knowledge.

  4. Collaborate with a team of researchers to share knowledge and resources.
  5. Prepare and present detailed reports on research activities.
  6. Work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
  7. Stay current on the latest advancements and innovations related to elemental analysis.
  8. Utilize laboratory safety protocols and adhere to established quality standards.
