
Research Engineer - Manufacturing & Material Modeling

The Research Engineer will be responsible for developing and applying models to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes and materials performance.We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. They should also have experience with manufacturing systems and materials modeling software. Responsibilities:
- Develop models to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes and materials performance.
- Utilize 3D printing and additive manufacturing processes when applicable.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Troubleshoot any issues which arise with the models and processes.
- Maintain and update models and processes as needed.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure successful implementation of models and processes.
- Remain up-to-date with industry trends and technology.
- Utilize software to develop efficient models and processes.
- Develop and document technical reports to communicate research findings.
