
QC Chemist I

As a QC Chemist I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products through conducting various chemical tests and analyses. - Conduct chemical tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Accurately record and interpret test results, and communicate any deviations or abnormalities to the appropriate team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and investigate any quality issues, and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, and ensure proper functioning for accurate and reliable results.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and changes in regulations related to quality control and laboratory techniques.
- Participate in the development and validation of new testing methods and procedures.
- Document all testing and analysis procedures, results, and observations in a clear and organized manner.
- Take initiative to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the quality control process.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external labs to ensure consistency and quality of incoming materials and outsourced testing.
- Train and mentor new QC Chemists and assist with their onboarding and development.
- Adhere to project timelines and priorities, and effectively manage workload to meet deadlines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Quality Control Role Within A Manufacturing Or Industrial Environment
Strong Understanding Of Analytical Techniques And Instrumentation, Such As Hplc, Gc, And Spectroscopy
Knowledge Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements, Such As Iso And Cgmp
