  1. Accurately perform cycle counts on inventory to ensure data integrity and timely resolution of any discrepancies.
  2. Receive, store, and distribute materials according to established procedures and guidelines.
  3. Maintain organized and clean work area to facilitate efficient material handling and inventory management.
  4. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements for inventory management.
  5. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
  6. Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues.
  7. Monitor and report inventory levels and trends to support production planning and decision-making.
  8. Conduct research and analysis to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  10. Actively participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to improve overall supply chain performance.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality, to ensure smooth material flow and support operational goals.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to material handling and inventory control activities.
  13. Train and mentor new team members on material handling and inventory control processes and procedures.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of General Electric in all interactions and work with integrity and professionalism.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Inventory Management Software: Applicants For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Be Able To Use It Efficiently To Track And Maintain Accurate Inventory Levels.

  • Knowledge Of Warehouse Safety Protocols: Material Handlers/Cycle Counters At General Electric Will Be Responsible For Working In A Warehouse Environment, So They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures To Ensure A Safe Work Environment For Themselves And Their Colleagues.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In This Role, As Material Handlers/Cycle Counters Are Responsible For Tracking And Counting Inventory. Applicants Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Discrepancies In Inventory Levels.
