- Accurately perform cycle counts on inventory to ensure data integrity and timely resolution of any discrepancies.
- Receive, store, and distribute materials according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain organized and clean work area to facilitate efficient material handling and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements for inventory management.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues.
- Monitor and report inventory levels and trends to support production planning and decision-making.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Actively participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to improve overall supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality, to ensure smooth material flow and support operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to material handling and inventory control activities.
- Train and mentor new team members on material handling and inventory control processes and procedures.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Experience With Inventory Management Software: Applicants For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Software, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Be Able To Use It Efficiently To Track And Maintain Accurate Inventory Levels.
Knowledge Of Warehouse Safety Protocols: Material Handlers/Cycle Counters At General Electric Will Be Responsible For Working In A Warehouse Environment, So They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures To Ensure A Safe Work Environment For Themselves And Their Colleagues.
Strong Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In This Role, As Material Handlers/Cycle Counters Are Responsible For Tracking And Counting Inventory. Applicants Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Discrepancies In Inventory Levels.
