Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious, innovative, and experienced Lead Research Scientist - Ceramics to join the General Electric team. This highly sought-after role requires an individual with a passion for problem solving, a knack for developing new ideas, and a desire to further their career in the field of ceramics research.The Lead Research Scientist - Ceramics will be responsible for developing new products and materials for use in ceramic applications, as well as providing technical guidance and leadership to team members. This position requires a deep understanding of the ceramic processes and applications, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the latest trends in the field. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong background in ceramic research, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a team of researchers. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in ceramic research, a Master's degree in ceramic engineering or a related field, and a proven track record of success in ceramic research. The successful candidate will also need to be able to work in both a collaborative and independent environment, have the ability to think critically and analytically, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.
