At General Electric, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Electrical Commissioning professional to join our team. We are seeking a candidate who has a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently on tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commissioning process for new and existing electrical equipment, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, as well as extensive experience in a commissioning or electrical engineering role. They should possess a working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and other applicable safety regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical commissioning process for both new and existing equipment and ensure Safe Work Practices and compliance with all safety regulations
  • Work with the engineering team to develop and implement commissioning plans for projects
  • Prepare test plans and procedures for the commissioning of electrical equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions related to electrical systems
  • Monitor and assess systems performance and provide on-site support and instructions to personnel
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of commissioning results
  • Ensure that all commissioning activities are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures
  • Update and maintain commissioning documents, drawings, and other relevant materials
  • Stay up to date on relevant industry trends and developments
