- Manage and oversee the financial aspects of our pension plans, ensuring compliance and accuracy in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including pension plan administrators, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct regular reviews and analyses of pension plan financial data, identifying any discrepancies or areas of concern and taking appropriate action.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and other relevant parties, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Legal, to ensure pension plan design and implementation aligns with company goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to pension accounting, and proactively make adjustments to processes and procedures as needed.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process for pension plans, providing accurate and reliable financial data to inform decision-making.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Lead Accountant For Pension Accounting At Ge Healthcare Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Accounting Or Finance. A Bachelor's Degree In One Of These Fields Is Typically The Minimum Requirement For This Role.
Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Certification: In Addition To A Degree, A Lead Accountant Should Have A Professional Certification Such As A Cpa. This Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In Accounting Principles And Practices.
Experience In Pension Accounting: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pension Accounting, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Large Corporate Setting. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Pension Plan Design, Administration, And Financial Reporting.
