In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that will help to ensure the safety of our staff, contractors and visitors.To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Safety Management or Occupational Health & Safety. You must also be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures. Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
2. Monitor compliance with applicable safety regulations.
3. Conduct safety audits and inspections of facilities.
4. Educate and train staff and contractors on safety practices.
5. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
6. Maintain records and compile reports for safety-related data.
7. Assist with the development of emergency response plans and procedures.
8. Monitor and maintain safety equipment and supplies.
9. Participate in safety committee meetings and other safety-related initiatives.
10. Maintain current knowledge of OSHA and other related regulations.
