Welcome to General Electric's Field Engineer 1 position in Indianapolis, IN/Dayton, OH! We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Power Conversion Systems (PCS) team. As a Field Engineer, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to support our customers in the power generation industry.   1. Provide technical expertise and support to customers in the power generation industry.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to power conversion systems and equipment.
  3. Conduct hands-on work with cutting-edge equipment and technologies.
  4. Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and technicians to develop solutions for customers.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely and effective solutions.
  6. Travel to customer locations in Indianapolis, IN and Dayton, OH to provide on-site support as needed.
  7. Maintain a thorough understanding of GE's power conversion systems and keep up-to-date with industry advancements.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with equipment.
  9. Document and report all work performed, including technical details and recommendations for improvement.
  10. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  11. Represent General Electric in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  12. Follow all company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of integrity.
  13. Attend trainings and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of new products and services.

Job Qualifications
