
Executive Counsel - Corporate, Securities & Finance
At General Electric, we are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Executive Counsel to join our Corporate, Securities & Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a capable and driven individual who is eager to take on new challenges and apply their knowledge and expertise to our ever-evolving corporate sector.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on matters related to corporate, securities and finance, as well as providing proactive counsel to senior management on legal matters. As a key member of the team, the Executive Counsel will be expected to stay informed of legal developments in the corporate sector and provide advice on corporate governance, compliance, contracts, and legal risks.The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, a minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience, and a license to practice in the US. They will have a deep knowledge and understanding of corporate law, as well as experience in company formation, mergers & acquisitions, securities and finance. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent research capabilities.
