- Develop and implement financial strategies for the Integrated Supply Chain & Global Services division that align with the overall business objectives of General Electric.
- Drive sustainable growth and profitability for the division by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve financial targets and drive continuous improvement in processes and operations.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and execute long-term financial plans and forecasts for the division.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on financial matters related to the division.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in finance, supply chain, and services, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the division.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, and maintain accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Serve as a key representative of the division in interactions with external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and customers.
Extensive Financial Management Experience: A Chief Financial Officer (Cfo) At General Electric Should Have A Minimum Of 10-15 Years Of Experience In Financial Management, Including Experience In Supply Chain And Global Services. This Experience Should Include Strategic Financial Planning, Budgeting, Financial Analysis, And Risk Management.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Key Member Of The Executive Team, The Cfo Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Large Team Of Financial Professionals. In Addition, Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For Collaborating With Other Departments And Presenting Financial Information To Senior Management And Stakeholders.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Supply Chain And Global Services: The Cfo Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Supply Chain Management And Global Services, Including Procurement, Logistics, Distribution, And Vendor Management. This Knowledge Is Crucial For Making Strategic Financial Decisions That Support The Company's Operations And Growth.
Proven Track Record Of Driving Financial Performance: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Track Record Of Success In Improving Financial Performance And Achieving Cost Savings In A Large, Complex Organization. This Includes Experience In Implementing Financial Controls, Streamlining Processes, And Identifying Opportunities For Cost Reduction.
