Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Category Manager For Electrical & Mechanical At General Electric Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Field To Understand The Technical Aspects Of The Products And Services Being Managed.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Supply Chain Management: This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Procurement And Supply Chain Processes, As Well As Experience In Managing Suppliers And Negotiating Contracts.

  • Strong Understanding Of Electrical And Mechanical Products: As The Category Manager Will Be Responsible For Managing The Procurement Of Electrical And Mechanical Products, A Strong Understanding Of These Products And Their Market Is Essential.

  • Excellent Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills: The Category Manager Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Category Strategies To Drive Cost Savings And Improve Supplier Performance. Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills Are Critical For Success In This Role.
