  1. Develop and execute the global hematology portfolio strategy in alignment with the overall company objectives.
  2. Lead and inspire a team of professionals to drive innovation and deliver results in the hematology space.
  3. Identify and evaluate potential opportunities for business growth, including partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions.
  4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a strong understanding of global hematology regulations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, clinical trials, and commercialization efforts.
  6. Proactively monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and patient needs to inform strategic decision-making.
  7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and industry leaders.
  8. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  9. Develop and manage the hematology budget, ensuring resource allocation is aligned with strategic priorities.
  10. Represent the company at industry conferences and events, and act as a spokesperson for the global hematology portfolio.
  11. Stay up-to-date with advancements and breakthroughs in hematology research and technology, and identify opportunities for the company to stay at the forefront of the field.
  12. Communicate regularly with senior leadership and provide updates on the progress and performance of the hematology portfolio.
  13. Ensure the highest standards of ethical and responsible behavior are maintained within the hematology team.
  14. Uphold and promote the company's mission, values, and culture in all interactions and decisions.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Medicine Or Life Sciences: A Vice President, Global Head Of Hematology At Genentech Should Possess An Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Medicine, Biochemistry, Or Molecular Biology. This Qualification Ensures A Strong Understanding Of The Scientific Principles And Processes Related To Hematology.

  • Extensive Experience In Hematology: Candidates For This Position Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Hematology, With A Track Record Of Success In Drug Discovery And Development.
