If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Therapeutic Area Manager (TAM) for the Kansas/Missouri ecosystem at Genentech. As a TAM, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive the commercial success of our Hematology portfolio. This role requires a combination of scientific expertise, business acumen, and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the commercial success of the Hematology portfolio in the Kansas/Missouri ecosystem.
  2. Utilize scientific expertise to effectively communicate the benefits and value of our products to key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, payers, and patients.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem, including KOLs, key accounts, and patient advocacy groups.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Hematology market.
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions and tactics.
  6. Effectively manage and allocate resources to maximize sales and market penetration.
  7. Develop and deliver presentations and educational programs to healthcare professionals, payers, and other stakeholders.
  8. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  9. Provide training and support to sales representatives on the Hematology portfolio and market landscape.
  10. Represent the company at conferences, meetings, and other events to promote the portfolio and network with key stakeholders.
  11. Develop and maintain expertise in the therapeutic area and product portfolio to provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and market access teams to develop and implement promotional and market access strategies.
  13. Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  14. Travel within the assigned territory to meet with stakeholders and attend events as needed.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve strategies and tactics to drive sales and market share.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Life Sciences: A Strong Educational Background In Life Sciences, Such As A Phd Or Pharmd, Is Essential For A Therapeutic Area Manager In Hematology. This Provides A Solid Foundation In The Science Behind The Products And Allows For Effective Communication With Healthcare Professionals.

  • Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Professional Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, Preferably In A Similar Role As A Tam. This Ensures A Strong Understanding Of The Industry, Market Dynamics, And Regulatory Landscape.

  • Expertise In Hematology: The Tam Role Specifically Focuses On The Hematology Therapeutic Area, So It Is Crucial For Candidates To Have A Deep Understanding Of This Field. This Includes Knowledge Of Disease States, Treatment Options, And Competitive Landscape.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Tam, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Sales Professionals And Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams. The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Motivate Others Is Essential For Success In This Role.
