  1. Develop and implement strategies to support Genentech's government contracting initiatives.
  2. Monitor and analyze government regulations and policies related to pharmaceutical contracts.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with government requirements.
  4. Evaluate and negotiate government contracts to maximize profitability and minimize risks.
  5. Manage relationships with government agencies and stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective contract execution.
  6. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on government contracting processes and requirements.
  7. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new contract opportunities.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the government sector.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in government contracting policies and regulations.
  10. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management on government contracting strategies and initiatives.
  11. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in government contracting processes and procedures.
  12. Train and mentor junior team members on government contract management.
  13. Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements.
  14. Represent Genentech at industry events and conferences related to government contracting.
  15. Uphold Genentech's values and culture in all interactions and activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Government Contracting And Strategy Development For A Large Biopharmaceutical Company.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field. Mba Preferred.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far) And Government Procurement Processes.

  • Strong Project Management Skills With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Government Stakeholders.
