  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive media and innovation strategy in alignment with Genentech's overall mission and goals.
  2. Lead a team of media and innovation professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive their professional growth and development.
  3. Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in media and innovation, and incorporate them into the company's strategy.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, research and development, and external partners, to identify opportunities for innovative media campaigns and initiatives.
  5. Oversee the planning, execution, and measurement of media campaigns across various channels, including traditional, digital, and emerging media platforms.
  6. Develop and manage the media budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  7. Analyze data and market research to inform media strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  8. Foster a culture of innovation within the company, encouraging and supporting new ideas and approaches.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance media and innovation capabilities.
  10. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on media and innovation initiatives and their impact on the overall business.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to media and innovation.
  12. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to stay current on industry trends and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Leading And Managing Media And Innovation Strategies At A Large Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Company.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving Successful Media Campaigns And Innovative Initiatives That Have Resulted In Increased Brand Awareness And Revenue Growth.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of The Pharmaceutical Industry Landscape And Understanding Of The Regulatory Environment Surrounding Advertising And Marketing In This Field.

  • Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Use Data And Insights To Inform Decision-Making And Optimize Media And Innovation Plans.
