- Develop and execute a comprehensive DAM strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives of Genentech.
- Lead the implementation and management of DAM systems, ensuring that they meet the needs of various teams and departments within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their content and digital asset management needs and provide solutions that enhance their workflows.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to continuously improve DAM capabilities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all digital assets, including proper tagging, metadata, and version control.
- Lead training and provide ongoing support to end-users on DAM systems and processes.
- Monitor and analyze DAM metrics to identify areas for improvement and make strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to DAM systems.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in the field of content and digital asset management and incorporate them into the company's strategy.
- Act as a subject matter expert on DAM systems and educate stakeholders on their value and usage.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives related to content and digital asset management.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to provide updates on DAM initiatives and progress.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that all digital assets are in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline content and digital asset management workflows.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members to foster their professional growth and development.
10+ Years Of Experience In Product Management, With A Focus On Content And Digital Asset Management In The Biotech Or Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Dam Systems And Processes, Including Digital Content Creation, Curation, Storage, And Distribution.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget, With A Strong Attention To Detail.
Excellent Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Stakeholders, And External Vendors.
Demonstrated Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Mentor And Manage A Team Of Product Managers And Other Stakeholders.
