Job Description

  1. Conduct research and experiments using structural biology techniques to support drug discovery and development efforts.
  2. Analyze and interpret data to identify new targets and potential drug candidates.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments and interpret results.
  4. Present research findings at team meetings and scientific conferences.
  5. Contribute to the development and optimization of new techniques and protocols.
  6. Maintain knowledge of current scientific literature and apply it to research projects.
  7. Participate in the preparation of scientific publications and patent applications.
  8. Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  9. Mentor and train junior scientists and research associates.
  10. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to advance research projects.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations.
  12. Continuously seek out new technologies and methodologies to improve research processes.
  13. Participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings to discuss project progress and next steps.
  14. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to facilitate project progression.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Structural Biology Or Related Field (E.g. Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology)

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Structural Biology Research, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Setting

  • Expertise In Protein Structure Determination Techniques, Including X-Ray Crystallography, Nmr Spectroscopy, And Cryo-Electron Microscopy

  • Proficient In Data Analysis And Interpretation Using Relevant Software And Programs (E.g. Ccp4, Pymol, Relion)

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Present Research Findings To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences.
