Job Description

  1. Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of immunology, with a focus on developing novel therapies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments to advance scientific understanding in the field of immunology.
  3. Utilize expertise in immunology to analyze and interpret experimental data, and contribute to the publication of research findings.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in immunology and integrate new knowledge into research projects.
  5. Work independently and collaboratively to design and implement experiments, troubleshoot technical issues, and identify potential solutions.
  6. Present research findings at scientific conferences and internal meetings.
  7. Contribute to the development of new research projects and proposals.
  8. Participate in the training and mentorship of junior scientists and technicians.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of experimental data and results.
  10. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations in the laboratory.
  11. Continuously develop and expand scientific knowledge and skills through self-learning and training opportunities.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  13. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Phd In Immunology Or Related Field: A Postdoctoral Fellow At Genentech Must Possess A Phd In Immunology Or A Related Field, Demonstrating A Strong Foundation In The Scientific Principles And Techniques Relevant To The Role.

  • Experience In Immunological Research: Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In Conducting Immunological Research, With A Deep Understanding Of The Immune System And Its Related Pathways.

  • Strong Publication Record: Applicants Should Have A Strong Publication Record, With At Least One First-Author Publication In A Reputable, Peer-Reviewed Journal. This Demonstrates Their Ability To Conduct High-Quality Research And Communicate Their Findings Effectively.

  • Expertise In Relevant Techniques And Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Expertise In A Range Of Immunology Techniques And Methodologies, Such As Flow Cytometry, Elisa, And Cell Culture. Familiarity With Cutting-Edge Technologies And Approaches In The Field Is Also Desirable.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Postdoctoral Fellow At Genentech, The Candidate Will Work Closely With A Diverse Team Of Researchers And Collaborators.
