Job Description

At Genentech, our Manufacturing Engineers play a crucial role in cell and gene therapy product development, from design to execution and implementation. We are looking for a motivated, creative and passionate Manufacturing Engineer who can help us drive innovation and excellence in our manufacturing processes.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or a related field) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. In addition, our ideal candidate will have experience in cell and gene therapy manufacturing, as well as knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Experience with automation and robotics, as well as familiarity with process development, are also highly desirable.The Manufacturing Engineer will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, be able to work collaboratively, and have the ability to think outside the box. They must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to take ownership of their projects. Most importantly, they must be passionate about making a difference in healthcare and have a desire to help develop life-changing treatments.
