As a Learning Technologist, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise in instructional design, technology, and adult learning theories to design and deliver effective training programs for our employees.   1. Develop and implement innovative training programs that align with Genentech's mission and goals.
  2. Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  3. Research and stay up-to-date on the latest technology and trends in learning and development to continually improve training programs.
  4. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and design solutions that meet those needs.
  5. Utilize various learning technologies and platforms to deliver training in a variety of formats (e.g. eLearning, virtual, in-person).
  6. Manage and maintain the learning management system (LMS), ensuring all training materials are up-to-date and easily accessible for employees.
  7. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through various methods, such as surveys and assessments, and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Provide support and guidance to employees on using learning technologies and resources effectively.
  9. Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to training and development.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure training programs are aligned with company policies and procedures.
  11. Communicate and promote a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of training activities and employee progress.
  13. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to learning and development as needed.
  14. Represent the company and its values in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Instructional Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Designing And Implementing E-Learning Programs.

  • Proficient In Learning Management Systems And E-Learning Authoring Tools, Such As Articulate Storyline And Adobe Captivate.

  • Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Methodologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Subject Matter Experts.
