
Internship - Packaging Development Engineering

- Work closely with the Packaging Development Engineering team to understand the packaging needs and requirements for our products.
- Conduct research and gather information on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to packaging development.
- Assist in the design and development of packaging solutions for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure packaging meets all necessary specifications.
- Conduct packaging feasibility studies and create prototypes for testing.
- Perform packaging testing and analysis to ensure product stability and compatibility.
- Generate and maintain packaging development documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Identify and troubleshoot packaging issues and propose solutions for improvement.
- Monitor and track project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress and findings.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, while working in the lab.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of new packaging technologies.
- Stay current with industry advancements and share relevant knowledge with the team.
- Represent Genentech positively and professionally in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Bachelor's Degree In Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Packaging Design Principles And Materials.
Proficiency In Cad Software And Other Engineering Design Tools.
