
Intern - Process Engineering
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join our team as an Intern - Process Engineering at Genentech! Our process engineering team is responsible for driving the development and implementation of cost-effective processes and technologies to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong interest in both process engineering and biotechnology, and should possess a combination of technical and interpersonal skills. They should be analytical and have the ability to think critically, as well as be a team-oriented individual.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or related field• Knowledge of process engineering principles, concepts, and practices• Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis• Excellent problem solving and communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software, process simulation software, and process analysis software
