
Instrumentation Technician

- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or issues with instrumentation.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment and make recommendations for replacements or upgrades.
- Work closely with other members of the team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed on instrumentation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in instrumentation technology.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with potentially hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to report any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to support research and development efforts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and disposal of materials.
- Train and mentor new technicians on instrumentation procedures and protocols.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline processes and procedures related to instrumentation.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations related to instrumentation and workplace safety.
- Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving overall laboratory operations.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Instrumentation And Control Systems, Including Plcs, Dcs, And Scada Systems.
Experience With Troubleshooting And Repairing Complex Instrumentation And Control Systems.
Familiarity With Regulations And Standards Such As Fda, Gmp, And Iso 9001.
