- Lead a team of AI/ML experts to design, build, and maintain automation systems that support drug discovery and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends in AI/ML technology and identify opportunities for implementation within the company.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize the performance of AI/ML systems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to support the company's AI/ML initiatives.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on AI/ML best practices and methodologies.
- Collaborate with other directors and senior leaders to align AI/ML initiatives with overall company goals and objectives.
- Communicate progress and results of AI/ML initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.

- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness of AI/ML initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of training programs to educate employees on the use of AI/ML systems.

- Represent the company in professional and industry events related to AI/ML.
Extensive Experience In Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning: The Director Of Ai/Ml - Systems Automation At Genentech Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ai And Ml Technologies, Frameworks, And Algorithms. They Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Working With Ai/Ml In A Professional Capacity.
Strong Background In Systems Automation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Systems Automation, Including Experience With Devops, Ci/Cd, And Infrastructure Automation Tools. They Should Have Experience Implementing Automation Solutions At Scale.
