
Cell Culture Pilot Plant Manager

- Oversee the operation of the cell culture pilot plant, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all processes.
- Manage a team of scientists, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain a high level of quality control and ensure the production of consistent and high-quality cell culture materials.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of the cell culture process.
- Monitor and analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, quality control, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and timely completion of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in cell culture technology, and implement new strategies to optimize production.
- Manage the budget for the pilot plant, including procurement of equipment and supplies, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Act as a liaison between the pilot plant and other departments, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development.
- Represent the pilot plant and Genentech at conferences, meetings, and other industry events to showcase our innovative technology and products.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Cell Culture Techniques And Processes, Including A Deep Understanding Of Cell Growth, Media Preparation, And Bioreactor Operation.
Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team In A Biopharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Environment.
Strong Project Management Abilities, With A Track Record Of Successfully Executing Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
In-Depth Understanding Of Cgmp And Other Regulatory Requirements For Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing, With Experience In Ensuring Compliance In A Pilot Plant Setting.
