Network Engineer

G&M Oil Company is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our IT team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring the reliability of our company’s network systems. In this role, you will be a key part of the G&M Oil Company family, providing the technical support necessary to keep our business running smoothly.To excel in this role, you should possess an in-depth understanding of network security, cloud solutions, and a strong technical background. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required. Previous experience in a similar position, as well as certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly preferred. You must also have excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain G&M Oil Company’s network infrastructure to ensure reliable network systems
2. Monitor and manage performance of the network, troubleshoot problems, and provide technical support
3. Maintain network security to protect data and ensure compliance with company policies
4. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and cloud solutions to ensure G&M Oil Company is utilizing the best tools available
5. Develop and maintain system documentation and processes to ensure efficient and effective use of network resources
6. Provide training and support to users as needed
7. Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and maintain network architecture
8. Stay up-to-date with changing technologies and industry trends
