Sr Engineer - OpenShift/Kubernetes

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer experienced in OpenShift/Kubernetes to join the Frost Bank team. You’ll be joining an experienced and collaborative team that values collaboration and professional growth.The Senior Engineer will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters, working with developers and other engineers to design and develop deployments and troubleshooting and resolving any issues. The successful candidate will have expertise in OpenShift/Kubernetes, system design, and cloud engineering.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field• 5+ years of experience in system engineering, system design, cloud engineering, and/or development• Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Red Hat OpenShift• Proven track record of successful deployment and maintenance of cloud-based systems• Ability to think strategically and to collaborate effectively with teams• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, manage, and monitor OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters.
2. Work with developers and other engineers to design and develop deployments.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues.
4. Analyze and solve complex problems.
5. Monitor system performance and make improvements when necessary.
6. Research and implement new technologies to improve system performance.
7. Develop and maintain documentation on system processes and procedures.
8. Collaborate effectively with teams to develop strategies and plans.
9. Provide technical guidance and expertise to other team members.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
