  1. Oversee daily operations of the teller line to ensure smooth and efficient customer service.
  2. Ensure all transactions are conducted accurately and in compliance with banking regulations.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  4. Serve as a role model for tellers, providing training and guidance to help them excel in their roles.
  5. Monitor and manage the cash drawer and vault, ensuring proper balancing and security measures are in place.
  6. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including preparing and reconciling daily reports.
  7. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in banking regulations in order to effectively train and guide tellers.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  10. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive customer information.
  11. Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve job knowledge and skills.
  12. Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries or complaints, and work to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  13. Uphold Frost Bank's values and standards of conduct in all interactions with customers and team members.
  14. Assist with performance evaluations and provide feedback to tellers on areas of improvement.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In A Financial Institution: A Lead Teller At Frost Bank Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Bank Or Credit Union, Preferably In A Teller Or Customer Service Role. This Experience Will Provide A Solid Foundation Of Knowledge About Banking Processes And Procedures.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: A Lead Teller Must Have Exceptional Customer Service Skills To Handle A High Volume Of Customer Interactions On A Daily Basis. They Should Be Friendly, Approachable, And Able To Handle Difficult Situations With Professionalism And Empathy.

  • Cash Handling Experience: Frost Bank Requires Its Lead Tellers To Have Experience Handling Cash And Performing Various Financial Transactions Accurately. This Includes Counting And Balancing Large Amounts Of Money, As Well As Following Proper Security Procedures.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Lead Teller, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Ensuring All Transactions And Paperwork Are Completed Accurately And According To Bank Policies. This Includes Identifying And Resolving Discrepancies In Customer Accounts, As Well As Adhering To Regulatory Guidelines.

  • Leadership Skills: As The Name Suggests, A Lead Teller Is Responsible For Leading And Supervising A Team Of Tellers.
