As an Oracle SME, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Oracle databases to support our business operations.   1. Design and implement highly scalable and efficient Oracle databases to support the organization's business operations.
  2. Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
  3. Proactively monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues and provide timely solutions.
  5. Implement and maintain database security protocols and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design database solutions accordingly.
  7. Stay updated with the latest database technologies and provide recommendations for the organization's database strategies.
  8. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to database design, configuration, and processes.
  9. Conduct regular database maintenance and backups to ensure data availability and disaster recovery.
  10. Mentor and train junior database engineers on best practices and processes.
  11. Continuously identify and implement innovative solutions to improve database performance, reliability, and security.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, reports, and recommendations related to database operations.
  13. Adhere to all compliance and regulatory requirements related to database management.
  14. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and troubleshooting.
