You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. An in-depth knowledge of lending and credit risk management is essential. Responsibilities:
- Analyze loan portfolios and other credit activities to identify and assess risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize the credit risks associated with loans and other credit activities.
- Monitor the effectiveness of credit risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Keep up to date with banking regulations, industry trends, and best practices related to credit risk management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of credit risk management activities.
- Foster strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, such as customers, lenders, and auditors.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders about credit risk management and provide feedback as needed.
- Research and recommend new credit products and services.
- Provide guidance and training to other staff members on credit risk management practices.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure all credit activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
