In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our benefits offerings are in compliance with federal and state laws, as well as providing strategic recommendations to enhance our program.   1. Review and monitor federal and state laws and regulations to ensure Frost Bank's benefit programs are in compliance with all applicable requirements.
  2. Conduct regular audits of benefit programs to identify any potential non-compliance issues and make recommendations for corrective action.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all benefit plans, policies and procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's benefit programs and their compliance requirements.
  5. Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compliance matters related to benefit programs.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in benefits compliance and make recommendations for program enhancements.
  7. Analyze data and prepare reports on compliance status and potential risks.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance activities, including audits, reports, and other documentation.
  9. Communicate with external agencies and authorities as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert for benefits compliance and provide training and support to internal teams as needed.
  11. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure all benefit programs are in line with company policies and procedures.
  12. Proactively identify potential compliance risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  13. Keep abreast of any changes in regulations and laws related to benefits programs and provide recommendations for any necessary updates to policies and procedures.
  14. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to benefits compliance as assigned.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive information related to benefits compliance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Benefits Compliance, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Employee Benefits, Such As Erisa, Aca, And Hipaa.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Identify Compliance Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Compliance Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
