
Benefits Compliance Analyst

- Review and monitor federal and state laws and regulations to ensure Frost Bank's benefit programs are in compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of benefit programs to identify any potential non-compliance issues and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all benefit plans, policies and procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's benefit programs and their compliance requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compliance matters related to benefit programs.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in benefits compliance and make recommendations for program enhancements.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on compliance status and potential risks.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance activities, including audits, reports, and other documentation.
- Communicate with external agencies and authorities as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for benefits compliance and provide training and support to internal teams as needed.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure all benefit programs are in line with company policies and procedures.
- Proactively identify potential compliance risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
- Keep abreast of any changes in regulations and laws related to benefits programs and provide recommendations for any necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to benefits compliance as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive information related to benefits compliance.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Benefits Compliance, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Employee Benefits, Such As Erisa, Aca, And Hipaa.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Identify Compliance Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Compliance Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
