As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will play a vital role in providing legal support and guidance on all trust and estate matters.   1. Provide expert legal advice and support on all trust and estate matters to the organization.
  2. Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, on complex legal issues related to trusts and estates.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and inform decision-making.
  4. Draft and review legal documents, including trust agreements, wills, and other estate planning documents.
  5. Advise on the creation, administration, and termination of trusts and other estate planning vehicles.
  6. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to identify and mitigate potential legal risks related to trusts and estates.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and other industry professionals to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
  8. Participate in trust and estate-related negotiations and provide guidance on legal implications.
  9. Educate internal stakeholders on trust and estate laws and regulations to promote compliance and risk management.
  10. Stay informed on changes in trust and estate laws and regulations and proactively recommend updates to organizational policies and procedures.
  11. Provide training and guidance to junior legal team members on trust and estate matters.
  12. Represent the organization in legal proceedings related to trusts and estates, if necessary.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and tax departments, to ensure alignment and consistency in legal advice.
  15. Uphold the organization's values and standards of ethics and integrity in all interactions and work.
  16. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to trust and estate matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Trust And Estate Planning

  • Experience In Managing And Administering Trust Accounts And Assets
