Job Description

At Franklin Templeton Investments, the Strategic Vendor Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the firm's vendor relationships and driving cost savings. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can bring their creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to the table. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of vendor management, ideally in the financial services industry, and be able to quickly understand and analyze complex data. The successful candidate should possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and the capability to build strong, collaborative relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive vendor management strategy to ensure cost savings.
  2. Analyze complex data to assess vendor performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Negotiate contracts and terms and conditions with vendors.
  4. Monitor and evaluate vendor performance on an ongoing basis.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  6. Implement best practices and processes for vendor management.
  7. Resolve vendor-related issues and disputes.
  8. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures related to vendor management.
  9. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments related to vendor management.
  10. Develop and deliver vendor trainings and presentations.
