Job Description

Franklin Templeton Investments is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Sr. Trust Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in trust, estate, and fiduciary services with excellent customer service and communication skills. Our Sr. Trust Officer will be a results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of the trust and estate administration process and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, third parties, and internal departments. The successful applicant must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of trust and estate administration and possess a minimum of 5 years of trust or law office experience. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, as well as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation. If you have a passion for providing excellent customer service and the ability to anticipate and adapt to client needs, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administer trust and estate accounts and services in accordance with the clients’ instructions and applicable laws, regulations, and trust agreements.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, third parties, and internal departments.
  3. Research and resolve complex trust and estate administration issues.
  4. Prepare documents, reports, and other materials related to trust and estate accounts.
  5. Prepare and review financial statements, trust accountings, and other fiduciary reports for accuracy.
  6. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and third parties.
  7. Stay up-to-date with laws, regulations, and industry changes related to trust and estate administration.
  8. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and trust agreements.
  9. Monitor and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
  10. Coordinate and oversee trust and estate activities with internal departments.
