Franklin Templeton Investments is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Sourcing team as a Vendor Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our vendor relationships and ensuring the best value and quality for our company.   1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and effective communication and collaboration.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and overall fit with the company's needs.
  3. Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with vendors to secure the best value and quality for the company.
  4. Monitor vendor performance and proactively address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  5. Continuously review and improve vendor processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as procurement, legal, and finance teams, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to vendor management and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Develop and maintain vendor scorecards to track and evaluate vendor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all vendor contracts, agreements, and communication.
  10. Advocate for the company's interests in vendor relationships and ensure that all contracts and agreements align with the company's goals and objectives.
  11. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of vendor management processes and procedures.
  12. Continuously monitor and assess vendor risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact on the company.
  13. Train and mentor junior team members on vendor management best practices and processes.
  14. Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through vendor management.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Strategic Sourcing And Vendor Management, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Sourcing And Procurement Processes, Including Contract Negotiation And Vendor Performance Management.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities And Mitigate Risks.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing Relationships With External Vendors And Internal Stakeholders, As Well As Leading Cross-Functional Teams.
