- Create and maintain a positive and impactful brand presence for Franklin Templeton Investments through media coverage, thought leadership, and other PR initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and develop key messages that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company in media interviews and other public relations opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify potential risks or opportunities for the company's reputation.
- Cultivate relationships with internal subject matter experts to leverage their expertise and perspectives in media opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry news and developments to proactively identify potential PR opportunities and risks for the company.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
- Develop and manage a budget for public relations initiatives and ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members in executing PR strategies and initiatives.
- Represent Franklin Templeton Investments at industry events and conferences, serving as a thought leader and ambassador for the company.
- Collaborate with global PR team members to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging and initiatives.
- Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of public relations strategies and make recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and ethical standards.
Extensive Experience In Public Relations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Public Relations, Preferably In The Financial Or Investment Industry. This Experience Should Include Developing And Executing Successful Pr Campaigns, Managing Media Relations, And Crisis Communication.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Director Of Us Public Relations, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Building Relationships With Media Outlets, Clients, And Stakeholders. Therefore, Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As Strong Interpersonal Skills, Are Essential For This Role.
