
Director - RFP US Institutional, Insurance & Americas
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Director of RFP for US Institutional, Insurance & Americas at Franklin Templeton Investments. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of proposals for our institutional, insurance, and Americas clients. - Develop and implement strategies for creating winning proposals for institutional, insurance, and Americas clients.
- Lead and manage the RFP process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all deliverables.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, product, and investment teams, to gather information and insights for proposals.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on client needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings to tailor proposals accordingly.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the institutional and insurance market, including regulatory requirements, to effectively address client needs.
- Oversee and review all proposal content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company messaging and branding.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all RFP-related inquiries and requests from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor a team of RFP writers and coordinators, providing guidance and support to produce high-quality proposals.
- Continuously review and improve the RFP process, identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and market trends to inform proposal strategies and differentiate the company from competitors.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building relationships with key stakeholders and promoting the company's capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term business plans and identify opportunities for growth within the institutional, insurance, and Americas market.
- Ensure all proposals adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Drive a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the RFP team.
Extensive Experience In Institutional Sales: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Institutional Sales, Specifically In The Us Market. This Includes A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Rfps And Winning New Business.
Strong Knowledge Of Institutional Investment Products: A Strong Understanding Of The Us Institutional Investment Landscape And Various Products Such As Mutual Funds, Separate Accounts, And Etfs Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of The Insurance Industry And Its Investment Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Director Of Rfp For Us Institutional, Insurance, And Americas, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Investment Strategies To Clients And Prospects. Therefore, Exceptional Oral And Written Communication Skills Are A Must.
Team Management And Leadership Abilities: This Role Requires The Candidate To Manage A Team Of Rfp Specialists And Collaborate With Various Departments Within The Organization. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Leading Teams.
