- Conduct legal research and analysis on various corporate law matters, including contracts, compliance, and regulatory issues.
- Provide support to corporate counsel in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and risk management.
- Assist with corporate governance matters, such as board meetings, annual reports, and shareholder communication.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and trends to provide proactive legal advice and recommendations.
- Participate in negotiations and provide legal guidance on business transactions.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal files and documentation.
- Communicate complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner to non-legal team members.
- Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with outside counsel and manage relationships with external legal partners.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of corporate legal policies and procedures.
- Train and educate team members on legal matters and best practices.
- Uphold high ethical standards and confidentiality in all legal matters.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School
Admission To The State Bar And In Good Standing
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Law, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry
Strong Knowledge Of Securities Laws And Regulations
