Job Description

Franciscan Health is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Resource Video Monitor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a dedication to providing the highest levels of patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to video images that are shown on video monitors in the hospital.The ideal candidate for this role will have an Associate’s degree in a related field and at least two years of experience in video monitoring. You must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Additionally, you must be able to stay calm under pressure and be able to quickly assess and respond to abnormal situations. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to video images shown on video monitors in the hospital • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in monitoring • Quickly assess and respond to abnormal situations • Communicate effectively with staff and patients • Investigate any video issues or discrepancies • Follow established protocols and procedures • Provide excellent customer service to all patients • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and visitors • Ensure video equipment is functioning properly • Work independently with minimal supervision
