High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Resource Patient Care Assistant Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Job. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge Necessary For The Role.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: To Be A Resource Patient Care Assistant At Franciscan Health, Candidates Must Possess A Valid Cna Certification. This Ensures That The Individual Has Completed A State-Approved Training Program And Is Competent In Providing Basic Nursing Care.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Bls Certification Is Required For All Healthcare Professionals At Franciscan Health, Including Resource Patient Care Assistants. This Certification Shows That The Individual Is Trained In Life-Saving Techniques Such As Cpr And Can Respond Quickly In Emergency Situations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Resource Patient Care Assistant, One Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
