- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care.
- Follow all policies and procedures of the healthcare facility.
- Attend training and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Keep patient information confidential and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Resource Patient Care Assistant Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Job. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge Necessary For The Role.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: To Be A Resource Patient Care Assistant At Franciscan Health, Candidates Must Possess A Valid Cna Certification. This Ensures That The Individual Has Completed A State-Approved Training Program And Is Competent In Providing Basic Nursing Care.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Bls Certification Is Required For All Healthcare Professionals At Franciscan Health, Including Resource Patient Care Assistants. This Certification Shows That The Individual Is Trained In Life-Saving Techniques Such As Cpr And Can Respond Quickly In Emergency Situations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Resource Patient Care Assistant, One Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Active Listening, Empathy, And The Ability To Work Well In A Team.
