  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ nutritional needs, including medical history, current dietary habits, and any specific dietary requirements or restrictions.
  2. Develop individualized nutrition plans based on patient needs and goals, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  3. Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper nutrition and how to make healthy food choices.
  4. Monitor and track patients’ progress towards their nutritional goals, making adjustments to their plan as needed.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics, and incorporate this knowledge into patient care.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  7. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop integrated treatment plans.
  8. Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
  9. Advocate for patients’ nutritional needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure their dietary requirements are met.
  10. Provide guidance and support to patients transitioning to different diets or managing chronic conditions through nutrition.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all patient interactions.
  12. Participate in professional development activities to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices in the field.
  13. Assist with menu planning and evaluation of food service operations to ensure compliance with nutrition standards and regulations.
  14. Act as a resource for the community by providing nutrition education and outreach programs.
  15. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • Current State License To Practice As A Dietitian.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Counsel Patients On Nutrition And Lifestyle Changes.
