- Provide top-quality, compassionate care to patients in the pulmonary critical care unit.
- Diagnose and treat patients with pulmonary conditions and critical illnesses.
- Monitor and manage patient progress and response to treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and best practices in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records for each patient.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and disease management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on patient care.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in patient care.
- Serve as a leader and mentor to other healthcare staff, including residents and medical students.

Medical Degree: A Physician - Pulmonary Critical Care Must Have A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Pulmonary Disease And Critical Care Medicine By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine (Aobim).
Residency And Fellowship Training: The Candidate Must Have Completed A Residency In Internal Medicine And A Fellowship In Pulmonary And Critical Care Medicine From An Accredited Program.
State Medical License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Unrestricted Medical License To Practice Medicine In The State Where Franciscan Health Is Located.
Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Pulmonary Critical Care Physician Is Preferred. This Includes Experience In Managing And Treating Critically Ill Patients, Performing Procedures Such As Bronchoscopy And Thoracentesis, And Interpreting Pulmonary Function Tests And Imaging Studies.
