Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology team at Franciscan Health. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent care for our patients and will be a self-starter who can work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for a variety of tasks including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders.The successful candidate should have an advanced knowledge in gastroenterology and be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. Dedication to providing quality patient care in a compassionate and professional manner is essential. The Nurse Practitioner should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to personal growth and development. Experience in caring for patients with GI conditions is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care to individuals with gastrointestinal diseases and disorders in a fast-paced setting.

7. Utilize evidence-based care to make decisions regarding patient care and treatment.
8. Maintain a friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor with patients and their families.
9. Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) support to patients when needed.
