- Continuously update knowledge and skills in imaging technology and procedures to provide the best possible care for patients.

- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies to ensure the smooth functioning of the imaging department.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Imaging Assistant At Franciscan Health Would Be A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Can Perform Tasks That Require Basic Written And Verbal Communication Skills.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Clinic, Is Highly Desirable For An Imaging Assistant. This Experience Would Demonstrate The Candidate's Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Familiarity With Medical Procedures.
Knowledge Of Imaging Equipment And Technology: A Qualified Imaging Assistant At Franciscan Health Should Possess Knowledge Of Various Imaging Equipment And Technology Used In Medical Imaging. This Would Include X-Ray Machines, Ct Scanners, Mri Machines, And Other Imaging Modalities.
Attention To Detail: Imaging Assistants Are Responsible For Ensuring That All Images Are Of High Quality And Accurately Labeled. Therefore, Attention To Detail Is A Crucial Qualification For This Position. The Candidate Should Have The Ability To Identify And Correct Any Discrepancies In Images.
