  1. Greet and welcome patients, guests, and team members with a warm and friendly attitude.
  2. Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including restocking supplies and keeping the waiting area tidy.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless guest experiences.
  6. Utilize computer systems and software to schedule appointments, verify insurance information, and update patient records.
  7. Adhere to all patient privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
  8. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the guest experience and suggest new ideas to management.
  9. Act as a liaison between patients, guests, and medical staff to facilitate clear communication and ensure a positive experience.
  10. Attend training sessions and stay updated on company policies and procedures to provide accurate and up-to-date information to guests.
  11. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
  12. Remain professional and calm in high-stress situations, and handle guest complaints or issues with empathy and efficiency.
  13. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, reflecting the values and mission of Franciscan Health.
  15. Uphold the highest standards of customer service and go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: A Guest Service Representative At Franciscan Health Must Possess Exceptional Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Interact With Patients, Visitors, And Staff Members. This Includes Strong Verbal And Written Communication, As Well As Active Listening Skills.

  • Customer Service Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Demonstrate A Strong Commitment To Providing Exceptional Service And Resolving Customer Concerns.

  • Multi-Tasking Abilities: Franciscan Health Is A Busy Healthcare Facility And The Guest Service Representative Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks At Once While Maintaining A High Level Of Efficiency. This Includes Managing Phone Calls, Scheduling Appointments, And Directing Guests To Their Desired Location.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: While Not Required, Knowledge Of Medical Terminology Is Highly Preferred For This Position. This Will Enable The Guest Service Representative To Better Understand Patient Needs And Communicate Effectively With Medical Staff.

  • Compassionate And Empathetic: Working In A Healthcare Setting Requires A High Level Of Empathy And Compassion. The Guest Service Representative Must Be Able To Show Care And Concern For Patients And Their Families, And Be Able To Handle Difficult Situations With Sensitivity And Professionalism.
