Job Description

Franciscan Health is seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as the Family Practice Residency Associate Director. We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing a family practice residency program, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of teams. To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Medicine degree, a board certification in family practice, and a minimum of five years of clinical experience. Experience in accreditation of residency programs and teaching medical students is highly desired. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the family practice residency program.
  2. Develop and maintain high quality patient-centered care.
  3. Recruit, train, and evaluate faculty and residents.
  4. Oversee curriculum, policies, and procedures.
  5. Monitor residency program performance and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  6. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other departments and teams.
  7. Educate and mentor medical students.
  8. Provide administrative support for the family practice residency program.
  9. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  10. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for review.
