- Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Monitor and adjust CT equipment settings to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Review and evaluate CT images to ensure they meet diagnostic criteria and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Educate and communicate with patients about the CT scan procedure, answering any questions and addressing concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in CT technology and techniques through continuing education and training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and stocked.
- Assist in the training and supervision of new CT technologists.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by working effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Equivalent From An Accredited Institution.
Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification In Computed Tomography.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Ct Technologist In A Hospital Setting.
Knowledge Of Current Ct Technology And Techniques, Including Experience With Contrast Media Administration.
Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
