Clinical Staff Pharmacist

Franciscan Health is looking for a dynamic and motivated Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As an integral part of our healthcare team, the Clinical Staff Pharmacist will provide clinical and distributive pharmacy services while ensuring medication safety and adherence to all applicable regulations. The successful candidate should possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as an understanding of evidence-based practice. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly adapt to change.The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university, a current Pharmacist license in the state of Indiana, and at least one year of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of medication safety initiatives, health system pharmacy operations, and medication surveillance systems is also preferred. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist must have strong organizational and communication skills, and must be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide clinical and distributive pharmacy services in accordance with applicable regulations and standards of practice
2. Ensure the accuracy and safety of medication orders
3. Monitor medication usage and provide medication safety initiatives
4. Maintain a working knowledge of health system pharmacy operations
5. Participate in medication surveillance systems
6. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
7. Utilize evidence-based practice when providing patient care
8. Maintain a current Pharmacist license in the state of Indiana
9. Quickly adapt to changing environments and workflows
10. Assess and resolve medication-related issues in a timely manner
