  1. Develop and implement comprehensive clinical education programs for healthcare professionals in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Assess the learning needs of healthcare professionals and create tailored education plans to address any knowledge or skill gaps.
  3. Collaborate with clinical leaders and departments to identify areas for improvement in patient care and develop educational strategies to address these areas.
  4. Design and deliver engaging and interactive educational sessions, including lectures, workshops, and hands-on training.
  5. Utilize various teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles and ensure maximum retention of information.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve and meet organizational objectives.
  7. Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes in healthcare policies and regulations to ensure the education programs remain relevant and up-to-date.
  8. Serve as a resource and mentor for healthcare professionals seeking additional education and training opportunities.
  9. Coordinate and facilitate certification and continuing education programs for healthcare professionals.
  10. Collaborate with human resources to develop onboarding and orientation programs for new healthcare professionals.
  11. Maintain accurate records of education activities and provide reports to leadership as needed.
  12. Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other professional development events.
  13. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
  14. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in delivering education programs.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Franciscan Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing Or A Healthcare-Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Education Role, Preferably In A Hospital Setting

  • Strong Clinical Expertise And Knowledge In A Specific Area Of Healthcare (E.g. Critical Care, Pediatrics, Oncology)

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Educational Programs And Materials For Healthcare Professionals

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Provide Training And Support To Staff.
